Whitefield Environmental Forum

Whitefield Environmental Forum was launched in 2022 with an inaugural tree planting in Philips Park. With help from the Prestwich Environmental Forum and Manchester City of Trees we have embarked on a campaign of climate action and increasing biodiversity across Whitefield.

We have:

  • Worked with local schools and residents to plant over 1600 trees , large and small.

  • Helped local schoolchildren to plant 100s of wildflowers and build bird boxes.

  • Arranged an Eco Day at Springwater Park to introduce young people to the joys of the natural environment.

  • Arranged a community visit to GM Renew Hub.

  • Planted 1000s of bulbs, including working with TFGM to brighten Radcliffe tram stop.

Please help us do even more!
