We are Prestwich Environmental Forum

We are a community group that coordinates positive action to make our town a cleaner and greener place to live. We create a space for everyone who lives, works and studies in Prestwich to come together to develop solutions to local environmental issues.

Our projects

We run a number of projects, decided by our members’ priorities each year.

All our projects are run by volunteers in our spare time, and your help can make these a success. You don’t need to be a Prestwich Environmental Forum member to have input!

We're a #PlasticFreePrestwich community ally

We work to remove or reduce single-use plastics in our activities, as well as helping raise awareness of the problem.

We run this project alongside the fantastic charity Surfers Against Sewage.

Our logo concept was developed by our members and brought to life by local window artist @HappyChalk.Hazel.

Our website photography was captured by local photographer @R.Mandel2019.

Whatever we do, we try to ensure our activities are ethical, sustainable and fair. We have built this website using creat.net... They're a company whose values align with ours. They have been kind enough to offer us a discount and support along the way. Many thanks to their team!
